Art in Therapy
At The Collective Therapy Center, we believe that art has the capability to break down barriers. Creative expression gives children, adolescents, and even adults a sense of safety in the therapeutic setting. It can allow the client to express themselves more freely while presenting a safe space to tap into their thoughts and feelings. We often use creative expression, and multi-sensory modalities to make tangible reminders of therapy skills so that clients remember to utilize the skills in everyday life.
